For Christmas holiday, here's what's open or closed &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Christmas will be observed Sunday. Local businesses, governments and
organizations have issued the following notices concerning services: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Times Leader circulation offices will be open from 5 a.m. to 10
a.mSunday and Monday. The newspaper's library will be closed to the public
Friday through Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 State and federal offices in Luzerne County will be closed Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Luzerne County Transportation Authority will provide bus service
Monday. See the box for Saturday's abridged schedule. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Postal service: No mail delivery or collection Sunday or Monday, although
express mail and special deliveries will be delivered and processed both days. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Local job centers will be closed Monday, and will close at noon on Friday.
Claimants who have not rescheduled and whose Social Security number ends in
zero should report Tuesday. If the number ends in one, report on Wednesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Libraries: The Osterhout Free Library, Wilkes-Barre, and its branches, as
well as the Hoyt Library, Kingston, and Back Mountain Memorial Library,
Dallas, will be closed Saturday and Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dallas: Garbage collection will be one day later than usual. The borough
will close Friday at noon, and will reopen Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dallas Township: Garbage collection will be one day later than usual. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dupont: The municipal building will be closed Monday. Monday's trash
collection will be Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Duryea: The municipal building will be closed Monday. Trash collection will
be Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Edwardsville: The borough administrative offices will close at 1 p.m.
Friday and reopen Tuesday. Cardboard, magazine and glossies drop-off will be
Friday at the Hoblack Street garage from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Garbage will not be
collected Monday, it will be collected one day later. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Exeter: Municipal offices will be closed Monday. Trash collection will not
be affected. Recyclables will be collected on Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Exeter Township: The municipal building will be open Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hanover Township: The municipal building will be closed Monday. Monday's
garbage will be collected Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Harveys Lake: The municipal office will be closed from Monday until Jan. 3.
Garbage and recyclables will be collected on Tuesday and Jan. 3. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hazleton: City Hall will be closed Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jenkins Township: The municipal office will be closed Monday. Recyclables
will be collected Friday. All trash pickups will be one day later than usual. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Kingston: The public works department will be closed Monday. Recyclables
will be collected Thursday. The rest of the week's pickups will not be
affected. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Kingston Township: The municipal building will be closed Friday and Monday.
Garbage collection will be one day later than usual. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Laflin: The municipal building will be closed Monday. Trash collection is
not affected. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Larksville: The municipal office will be closed Saturday and Sunday. Trash
collection is not affected. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Luzerne: The municipal building will be closed Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Nanticoke: There will be no Monday trash pickup. All garbage collections
will be one day later than usual. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Pittston: City Hall will be closed Friday and Monday. Garbage collection
will occur as scheduled. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Plains Township: The municipal office will be closed Monday. The tax office
will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Monday's garbage collection will
be on Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Plymouth: The municipal office will be open Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Swoyersville: Garbage and recycling collections will all be delayed one
day, and will begin on Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 West Pittston: The borough office and street department will be closed from
Monday to Jan 3. Recycling dropoff at the borough garage on Delaware Avenue
will be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Dec. 30. Recyclables will not
accepted on Saturday or Dec. 31. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 West Wyoming: Garbage collection will be one day late for all borough
residents. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-Barre: Monday's garbage will be collected on Tuesday, and Tuesday's
pickup will remain Tuesday. Recyclables will not be collected Monday or
Tuesday. Regular collection of recyclables will resume on Jan. 9. Recyclables
can be taken to Solomon Industries, Stanton and South Empire Streets, this
Saturday and next Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-Barre Township: The administrative, recreation, road, tax and zoning
offices will be closed Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
