Santorum makes right choice with Parrick &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The prediction that ``you can't keep a good man (or woman) down'' rang true
this week with the announcement that Hazleton Republican Susan Parrick will be
coordinating Sen.-elect Rick Santorum's office in Northeastern
PennsylvaniaRight before the Nov. 8 election, while we endorsed Tom Stish on
these pages, we found his opponent Parrick was "smart, well-spoken, and does
her homework." We further suggested that "win or lose, Susan Parrick will be
heard from again in Luzerne County." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; And when we endorsed Rick Santorum for the U.S. Senate, we failed to
discern that among his positive qualities was also the ability to recognize
talent when he sees it and to put it to work for himself and his constituents.
We commend his judgment and applaud his choice. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 America has high hopes and earnest expectations for its new Congress, and
certainly Pennsylvanians are watching their young, energetic, outspoken
senator with interest and optimism. That he chose Parrick to keep the home
fires burning in Northeastern Pennslvania speaks well for both of them. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
