`Little Guys' play mighty role in Lehman's success &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 As most observers figured before the Wyoming Valley Conference wrestling
season began, Lake-Lehman is clearly the most dominant team in the
conferenceAnd the major reason for the Knights' supremacy has been their
"little guys." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; From the 103-pound class through the 140-pound class, the Knights have one
of the toughest lineups in the state. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In a showdown against Meyers, Lehman raced out to a 21-0 lead on the
strength of the lower weights and cruised to a 30-13 victory. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Three days later, the Knights encountered another WVC power in Wyoming
Valley West. But the Spartans fell prey to Lehman's explosive attack and
trailed 18-0 after the first three bouts and 30-4 after the 140-pound bout.
The Knights, ranked seventh in state with a 13-0 record, once again cruised to
an easy 39-22 win. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "I didn't expect us to be able to dominate like we have," said Lehman
co-coach Phil Lipski. "We've had a real steady performance from them
(lightweights)." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 And the catalyst to this success has been 103-pounder Matt Raczkowski.
Raczkowski, ranked fifth in the state among Class AA wrestlers at 103, has
blitzed his opponents with a combination of speed and strength for an 18-1
record. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "It's nice to know we're going to start out with a five- or six-point
lead," said Lehman co-coach Tom Williams. "It's a nice luxury to have." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 But Raczkowski isn't the only Knight having an above average season. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Bill Breha (15-3), Allen Scott (16-4), Joe Halowich (16-5), Mike Stuart
(16-2) and Tim Sayre (19-1) all have incredible individual won-loss records.
But more important for the Knights, they've been able to destroy opponents and
put them in a huge hole. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Big Wednesday: Lehman faces another test in its quest for an undefeated
season today as it travels to Hazleton Area. The Knights are coming off a week
with two emotional wins over Meyers and Valley West, and now must focus on a
very talented Cougar team. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "They're scary," said Lehman co-coach Tom Williams of the Cougars. "We're
not overlooking anybody." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A titanic bout could occur here if Raczkowski and Hazleton Area's Mike
Weston hook up at 103. Weston, who has wrestled at 103 the past two seasons,
has wrestled at 112 for most of this season. However, the senior has recently
dropped to 103 and is currently ranked No. 6 in the state in the Class AAA
ranks. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Another key matchup tonight pits Coughlin at Valley West. Both hold
identical 5-1 records in the WVC, and the meet could be a preview of what's to
be expected in the AAA district meet. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Reaching a milestone: Pittston Area's Tony Barbrie reached a career
milestone Saturday against West Side Tech, notching his 100th career victory. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Fittingly enough, the win came on a pin in the Patriots' victory. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Barbrie, last year's District 2 Class AAA champion at 160, is currently
undefeated in the WVC this season at 12-0. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He is following in footsteps of brother Frank, who also won over 100
matches in his career at Pittston Area and finished third in the state in
1993. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 All in the family: Speaking of brothers, Meyers sports three sets of
brothers in its starting lineup. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Delucas (Otis and Zach), Hilburts (Brian and Bill) and Schlingmans
(Jason and Ben) all have played prominent roles in the Mohawks' success this
season. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 By the way, the Mohawks are coached by brothers Dave and Andy Kuhl. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 The Ultimate Warrior: While Wyoming Area isn't considered a WVC wrestling
power, it may have one of the best wrestlers around. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Don Morgan has quietly continued to be a force at 119 with a 12-0 record in
the conference. He also owns two of the fastest pins in the WVC (10 and 19
seconds). &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The junior finished last season with a 26-3 overall record and looks to be
well on his way to improving that mark this season. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
