 Jan. 3, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mr. Eugene Griffin Crane, 37, of 47th Street, Long Island City, N.Y., for
15 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 years, formerly of the Wilkes-Barre area, died Wednesday at the Cornell &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Medical Center of New York Hospital, New York, N.YBorn Oct. 17, 1958, in
Port Jervis, N.Y., he was the son of Madeleine Bohn Bestider, Plymouth, and
the late Austin Crane. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He attended Port Jervis Elementary School and the Wyoming Valley West High
School. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving in addition to his mother, are his companion, Edwin Quinones;
brothers, Robert A. Smith, Dallas; Jonathan C. Smith, Inkerman, Jenkins
Township; Colleen Young, Plymouth; nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday from the Gray-Parker Funeral
Home, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, N.Y., with the Rev. Mark Terwilliger
officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Hanover
Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
