 Jan. 11, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Anna Carruth, 76, a resident of Valley Crest Nursing Home, formerly of the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Monroe Apartments, Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday at Mercy Hospital, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-BarreBorn Jan. 1, 1920, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the
late Gregory and Sophia Kostock Snyder. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a graduate of Hanover High School and, before retiring, she was
employed by the former Mary MacIntosh Laundry, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Snyder, and a sister,
Mary Brennan. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her sisters, Mrs. Catherine McHugh, Hanover Township; Mrs.
Sandra Harris, Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the Nat &amp; Gawlas
Funeral Home, Park Avenue and South Street, Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev.
Stephan Koster, from Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church,
Wilkes-Barre, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until service time Saturday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
