Anna Simonitis &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 22, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Anna Simonitis of the Dan Flood Towers, Wilkes-Barre, died Monday at the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn and raised in Courtdale, she was the
daughter of the late John and Catherine Shyrkola Romanchak (Romanchick). &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She resided in the Lee Park section of Hanover Township for more than 30
years. She moved to Edwardsville before moving to the Dan Flood Towers three
years ago. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Before retiring in 1981, she was employed by First Eastern Bank for 20
years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Edwardsville. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester, in 1979; brothers,
John, Peter and Michael; sisters, Mary Atkinson and Rose Gronchick. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, William, Forty Fort; three grandsons; one
great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The funeral will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Joseph L.
Wroblewski Funeral Home, 1442 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with funeral services
at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Parastas services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev.
Emilian Hutnyan, pastor of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
