Almost `fair' estimation of local tourism &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In reading Dr. John S. Zavacki's letter (Jan. 29), I had to wholeheartedly
agree with most of his ideas on bringing tourism into Wilkes-Barre and the
surrounding communitiesIn one paragraph, however, he wrote: "If Bloomsburg can
have a county fair, why can't we?" &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; We do have a Luzerne County Fair. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In fact, the 34th annual fair will be held this fall, Sept. 4- 8. We have a
yearly attendance of approximately 60,000. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I am sure if you join us, you will find we have a very nice fair for the
whole family to enjoy. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 As a member of the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs, we
recently attended the state convention where ideas were shared for the
continuing improvement of all county fairs. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
