`Fisherman' tale will open Children's Theatre Series &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Pennsylvania Summer Theatre Festival's Children's Theatre Series will
begin on Saturday, July 13 with an original adaptation, ``The Fisherman and
his Wife.'' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The play was adapted by ensemble performer Michael Draper from traditional
stories by Aesop and the Brothers Grimm. Other stories adapted will include &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 ``Henny Penny.'' The production will feature regional actors including Tim
Hopkins, Donna Bostany, Bob Shlesinger and Draper. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The curtain will be at noon in a theater tent at McDade Park in Scranton as
part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the festival. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The show will be presented in a participatory format, with children in the
audience called upon to take part, both individually and as a group. The show
runs approximately 45 minutes to one hour and is best suited for pre-school to
fifth grade. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "The Fisherman and his Wife" will run for three additional Saturdays
throughout the summer; July 20 and Aug. 10 and 17. Curtain for all
performances will be noon. Tickets are $5 general admission for children and
adults, available at the door beginning 11:30 a.m. the day of the performance.
