Abraham Fiorani &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 July 9, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Abraham ``Abe'' Fiorani, 80, of Pond Hill Road, Mocanaqua, died Tuesday in
the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn Feb. 12, 1916, in Glen Lyon, Newport
Township, he was a son of the late Vincent and Antoinette Pachetti Fiorani. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He lived in California before moving to Mocanaqua in 1967, and served as a
sergeant for the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He worked as a carpenter for many years and was a member of Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witnesses, Muhlenburg. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He and his wife, the former Rose Cresci, celebrated their 48th wedding
anniversary on June 26, 1996 . &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Michael and Arnold, both of
Mocanaqua; a sister, Catherine Yacuboski, Glen Lyon; a brother, Lou,
California; a half sister, Mrs. Harry (Flora) Panetta, Mocanaqua. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial services will be announced at a later date from the Heller Funeral
Home, Nescopeck. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
