Holding Hazleton's graduation indoors showed good thinking &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I would like to extend my thanks to the Buildings and Grounds Committee for
their decision to move indoors the commencement ceremony for the Hazleton Area &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; High SchoolUnlike the rest of the people including Mike DeCosmo, who
moaned, complained, threatened law suits and walk-outs, I attended the
committee meeting when the decision was made to move the ceremony indoors.
This meeting was advertised and open to the public. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Many alternate ways to handle the situation were discussed, and the only
logical decision was to move the ceremony indoors since it looked like Mother
Nature was not going to cooperate. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I and others had relatives, who would be unable to wait for the next nice
day, flying in for this special occasion . &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I was disappointed, however, to see that two of our board members did not
have enough respect for this occasion to show up. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Last minute changes can be mind-boggling. I thank the administration,
staff, teachers and volunteers who pitched in to make this all possible. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
