French exchange students say inaccurate account adds insult to injury &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 It was with great insult that we read your article, ``Students from France
unfazed by crash'' (July 19) after we had spoken with the reporter the day
beforeThe article was not only unfair to us but to the victims of TWA Flight
800 and their families. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The tone of the article was very insensitive, and it was tactless to print
such an offensive headline without regard to the families and friends of the
victims. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 It was unfair of the reporter to label us "unaffected" by the crash when
the entire world was affected and is still in pain because of the lives lost. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Not only was it inconsiderate to say we were "unfazed," but it was
completely inaccurate. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 During the interview, we tried to stress that it was not necessary to live
in fear after any tragedy. You took it upon yourself to make us seem uncaring
and indifferent to the pain of those who have lost someone. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 We can only hope that the victims' families did not read your paper that
day. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
