 July 27, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dureatha M. Burridge, 70, of Old East End Boulevard, Bear Creek Township, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-Barre, died Saturday at the Hospice Care of the Visiting Nurse &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Association in-patient unit, Heritage House, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Laurel
Run, she was the daughter of the late Abram and Druie Belles. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She attended Laurel Run schools, and resided in Washington D.C. a brief
time following her marriage and lived in Bear Creek Township most of her life. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of the Messiah Primitive Methodist Church, Bear Creek
Township, Wilkes-Barre; member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of
the former Bear Creek Township American Legion Post 58. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She and her husband, William A. Jr., would have celebrated their 52nd
wedding anniversary later this year. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Sandra L.
Wunderly, Bethlehem; sons, Glen A., Dorrance; Richmond, Bear Creek Township,
Wilkes-Barre; William A. III, Slocum; 12 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter;
a sister, Mrs. Jennie Copeland, Laurel Run; a brother, Abram Belles,
Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the H. Merritt Hughes
Funeral Home, Inc., 451 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Reginald
Thomas, pastor of Messiah Primitive Methodist Church, Bear Creek Township,
officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton, Kingston
Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Messiah Primitive
Church, Pittston Boulevard, Bear Creek Township, Wilkes-Barre, 18702, or to
Hospice Care of the VNA, in-patient unit, 80 E. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre,
18701. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
