George Lapusnak &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 July 27, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; George A. Lapusnak of Rose Street, Port Griffith, died Saturday at the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn in Port Griffith, he was the son of the
late John and Mary Surma Lapusnak. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He graduated from Jenkins Township High School, served in the U.S. Army
during World War II, and was a lifelong resident of Port Griffith. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Church, Pittston, and its
Holy Name Society; American Legion Post No. 0938, Port Blanchard; the Blue
Army of Faithma. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by brothers, John and Andrew; sisters, Theresa and
Mary. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a brother, Joseph, at home; sisters, Margaret and Ann Marie,
both at home. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Adonizio Funeral
Home Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9
a.m. in St. John the Baptist Slovak Church, Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Slovak Cemetery, Exeter. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday, with a military service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
