 July 28, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Teresa Dougherty of Wilkes-Barre died Sunday at the Hospice Unit of Mercy &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hospital, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Jessup, she was the daughter of the late
Edward and Ann Costello Gilmartin. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was educated in the Jessup schools and graduate from St. Patrick's High
School, Olyphant. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Theresa's Church, Wilkes-Barre, and the ladies
auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3474, Dunmore. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J., in 1971; brothers,
Austin, Edward, John, Michael, and Robert; sisters, Ann Gilmartin, Ellen
McNeely, Katherine Gilmartin, Margaret Gerrity, Viola Walsh. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, Thomas J., Dunmore; daughters, Nancy Leighton, with
whom she resided; Sister Thomas Mary of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters,
Scranton; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church,
Dunmore. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Mary's parish cemetery, Dunmore. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Community Care Inc., 385 Wyoming
Ave., Kingston, 18704, or the Retirement Fund of the Congregation of the
Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Marywood, Scranton, 18509. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
