Am. Legion playoffs again fall to weather &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Rain once again presented problems in the completion of the Wyoming Valley &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; American Legion Baseball playoffs MondayHazleton and Plains were scheduled
to play Monday at Artillery Park, with a berth in the Regional playoffs at
stake. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 But Monday's weather prevented that game from happening, and with the
Regional playoffs scheduled to start today, a decision needed to be made. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Regional director Tom Horan and Wyoming Valley officials designated Plains
as the Wyoming Valley representative in the regional. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Plains (20-2) got the nod based on a better overall record than Hazleton
(15-9), and the fact that Plains beat Hazleton all three times the two played
this season. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Plains will play Danville at 4 p.m. today at Danville High School, while
Hazleton's season ends at 15-9. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
