 The West Pittston Little League is sponsoring a bus trip to Williamsport
for the final game of the Little League World Series. The trip will be on
Saturday, Aug. 24. The bus will leave from the little league at 9:30 a.m. Cost
of the trip will be $10 per person. Reservations will be filled on a first
pay-first serve basis. No refunds will be given. If you are interested in

 Bowling &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Empire Arcade Ladies Bowling League will hold its reorganization meeting on

 The Lake-Lehman Football Club will meet at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at Grotto
Pizza, Harveys Lake. All parents and friends of football players and football

 The Keystone Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America will hold its Eighth
Annual Scout Golf Classic on Monday, Sept. 9, at the Blue Ridge Country Club.
Proceeds from the tournament will support scouting programs of the Keystone
Area Council Boy Scouts of America. The tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m.
with a shotgun start, and the format will be a team scramble. The afternoon
shotgun start will be at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in a number of
categories. Registration fees include greens fee, golf cart rental, lunch,
hors d'oeuvres, and reception at 6 p.m. Various sponsorship packages are
available, including packages for non-golfers. For more information or to

 Soccer &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Pennsylvania Natives Professional Soccer announces a one-time only
offer for its 1997 inaugural season at Lackawanna County Stadium. Discounted
season ticket forms are available through local soccer league and organization
presidents as well as in local soccer stores. Those who buy before Sept. 1
will receive a discounted season ticket for $70. In addition, each season
ticket holder may attend a free week-long soccer camp or coaching clinic
available to children, youths or adults. The Pennsylvania Natives said
discounted season tickets are already in high demand and will go up to full
price after Sept. 4. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Swimming &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 King's College is accepting applications for a new head men's and women's
swimming coach. The head coach will be responsible for all aspects of the
program, including practice management, meet coaching and recruiting.
