Sophie Schimmel &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Aug. 7, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Sophie B. Schimmel, formerly of Heisz Street, Edwardsville, died Wednesday
at &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Valley Crest, Plains TownshipBorn Oct. 14, 1897, in the Dundee section of
Hanover Township, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna Duda Bush. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Schimmel; a sister, Mrs.
Paul (Cecelia) Klein; brothers, Benjamin, Clement, Joseph and Henry Bush. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving is her daughter, Mrs. Carl (Dorothy) Roberts, with whom she
resided. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in
Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas, with the Rev. William A. Lang, pastor of First
Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 There will be no calling hours. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral arrangements are by the Graham-McCune Funeral Home Inc.,
Mountaintop. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
