 Town Hall to assist individuals with problems or questions related to
veterans benefits. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Proof of veteran status or disability is required. The center's main office

 Memorial service &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The 109th Field Artillery's 1st Battalion will conduct the 46th Annual
Memorial Service at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the Armory in Kingston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The service is in honor of 33 soldiers who were killed in a train wreck on
Sept. 11, 1960 at Coshocton, Ohio. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Wyoming Valley Band will provide musical selections before and during
the ceremony. The local veterans organizations have been invited to
participate in this memorial service with floral tributes and their
organizational color guards. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 TOBYHANNA &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Military Ball set for &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Sept. 21 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Lt. Colonel Keith Martin will be the keynote speaker for the Executive
Committee's 1996 Military Ball at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the
Tobyhanna Ar~my Depot's Community Club. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The event will recognize the fifth anniversary of the Persian Gulf War. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Lt. Colonel Martin, an anchorman for WBRE-TV, Channel 28, is a Vietnam
veteran, having served combat tours in Vietnam and Cambodia and currently is
serving as Commanding Officer 3rd Battalion, 103rd Armor in the Pennsylvania
Army National Guard. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The ball requires a $20 entrance fee. Early reservations are being accepted

Thursday, Aug. 22 at the V.F.W. Post Home located on the San Souci Parkway in
Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Italian American Vets plan dinner &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Italian~ American Veterans of Luzerne County Post #1 will hold a dinner
at 6 p.m. followed by a meeting at 7 on Thursday, Sept. 5. The dinner and
meeting will be held at St. Mary's Antiochian Orthodox Church Hall in
Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
