 Ray Klynott of Kingston was recently honored as one of &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Pennsylvania's American Legion Post Commanders of the Year during the 78th
annual State American Legion ConventionKlynott was one of only 25 post
commanders, out of over 850 Pennsylvania posts, to receive the honor of being &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Ray Klynott named a 1996 Post Commander of the Year. Commanders were
required to have reached 100 percent of the targeted membership for their
post, as well as conduct services for at least two of the following: Memorial
Day, Flag Day, Legion Birthday and Veterans' Day. Also, their post must have
participated in three or more Legion Americanism programs. These include the
nation's youth, the good of the community and encouraged patriotism. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
