 What exactly did your paper have in mind when they decided to showcase
Steve &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Corbett's headline coverage of the GOP convention? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I can honestly say that I have never before read such self-gratifying
nonenseIt is certainly evident that The Times Leader has no intention of
objectively covering this convention. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Describing fireworks "the color of blood and money," "poor people line the
bridge railings" and "homeless men and bruised hallucinating women wander side
streets" smacks of sensational, tabloid-like press. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Mr. Corbett's derogatory comment characterizing Mr. Dole's age by stating
he "could be hospitalized any day for exhaustion" is a direct insult to every
senior citizen in this Valley, many of whom are more active and healthier than
younger citizens. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wouldn't it be nice if all the citizens of this country had the work ethic
and moral values of Mr. Dole's generation? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Should we expect the same type of objective reporting from Mr.Corbett when
the Democratic convention begins? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 If your vision is to contribute to this Valley, objectively reporting on
the real issues regarding one of the most important decisions we make every
four years should supersede headlining the obvious chip on Corbett's shoulder. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
