Sports betting figure enters prison &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Joseph Marranca of Exeter reported to a federal prison facility in Kentucky
on &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Thursday morning to begin serving an 18-month sentence on a money
laundering chargeMarranca, 56, was ordered to report by 2 p.m. Thursday as a
condition of his Aug. 5 sentencing in federal court, Scranton by U.S. District
Judge Edwin Kosik. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Marranca reported to the Federal Medical Center of the federal Bureau of
Prisons in Lexington at 11:30 a.m., said spokeswoman Roxana Gilbert. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Gilbert said Marranca is scheduled to meet with his case manager and a
counselor there. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Marranca had pleaded guilty last July to the money laundering charge in
connection with a multi-million dollar sports betting operation. He had
operated the business out of his Jean Street home and a former dress factory
in Luzerne. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 After completing his prison sentence, he will spend two years under a
supervised release. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
