 Aug. 22, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; John (Jackie) Kitlas, Jr., 47, of Edwardsville and a former resident of
Plains &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Township, died Thursday in the Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn on Feb.
19, 1949, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late John Bernard Sr. and
Eleanor Martha Dziedzic Kitlas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was educated in the Plains Township public school system. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was formerly employed by Kar's Nursery, Wyoming, and local area
factories. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a brother, Joseph, Wyoming; one niece, Dawn; two
grandnephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday from the Simon S. Russin Funeral
Home Inc., 136 Maffett St., Plains Township, with the Rev. Richard R. Hawley,
pastor of the First Baptist Church, Kingston, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
