WILKES-BARRE -- A Wilkes-Barre man was arrested on Friday on charges of
reckless endangerment. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Mark Hairston, 30, of Academy Street struck Nikki Blake, no age given, of
Wilkes-Barre about 1:20 a.m. and knocked her to the ground while she held
Amain Blake, her 16-month-old child, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hairston, a fugitive from North Carolina, is being held at the Luzerne
County Correctional Facility in Wilkes-Barre, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Three boys arrested &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 KINGSTON -- Three male juveniles were apprehended after they attempted to
enter a home at 6:30 p.m. Thursday near Spruce Street, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Police captured two juveniles and the third fled on foot. The youth was
found hiding on a resident's porch, Sgt. John Sromovsky said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Two juveniles were released to their parents and will be petitioned at a
later date. One juvenile was detained at the Luzerne County Juvenile Center in
Wilkes-Barre, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Motorcyclist is `satisfactory' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 NESCOPECK -- A Bloomsburg man remains in satisfactory condition at the
Geisinger Medical Center in Danville after his motorcycle collided with a
2-feet high concrete wall. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 David Bittner, 22, was riding a 1984 Honda northbound on state Route 339
when he fell asleep and proceeded through the intersection of state Route
3015, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Bittner rode 180 feet before crashing into the wall, which was the
foundation of a former railway station. He was thrown from the motorcycle and
landed 6 feet away, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Pickup driver injured &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 HAZLETON -- A 35-year-old Hazleton man was injured when his pickup struck a
utility pole at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, state police at Frackville said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Andrew Benyo of East Chestnut Street was listed in satisfactory condition,
said a spokesman at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Benyo was southbound on township Route 798 in Union Township, Schuylkill
County, when he crossed the road and struck the pole, owned by Pennsylvania
Power &amp; Light Co. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Benyo's 1977 Chevrolet pickup sustained severe damage and was towed from
the scene. Police said Benyo was not wearing a seat belt. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Woman dies after car crash &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 WAYMART -- A Lake Ariel woman died at the Community Medical Center in
Scranton following a three-car crash Thursday at the intersection of state
Route 296 and U.S. Route 6. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Veronica Jarusik, 72, was driving through the intersection about 3:20 p.m.
when her car was struck on the right side by motorist Richard Bailey of
Honesdale. The crash caused Jarusik's vehicle to collide with motorist
Marjorie Pavlovich of Waymart, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Bailey and Pavlovich were not injured. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Seat belt information was not available. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
