Youth volunteers feted at summer picnic at VA Medical Center &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Youth Volunteer Program at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Center, Wilkes-Barre, recently concluded with an awards ceremony and picnic
to honor the efforts of 70 youngsters who volunteered 5,700 hours to the
facility. Reedes Hurt, medical center director, presented certificates of
appreciation to all volunteers as well as a special commendation to volunteers &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Willard and Ruth Purdy, who were responsible for coordinating the
