 December 27, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mae M. Edwards, 92, of City Heights Apartments, formerly of East
Northampton &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Friday at her homeBorn June 3, 1904 in
Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth Griffiths
Jones. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She attended Wilkes-Barre city schools and was formerly employed in the
local silk mill industry. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of the First Welsh Baptist Church, South Meade Street,
Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Edwards Sr., in 1988;
brothers, David, John, Harry and Norman Jones; sisters, Maude Clocker,
Eleanore Evans and Anne Snyder. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, Harold E. Edwards Jr., Forty Fort; a grandson; a
great-grandson; sisters, Elizabeth Davis, Wilkes-Barre; Margaret Jenkins,
Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday from the Nat &amp; Gawlas Funeral
Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with services at 11 a.m. in the First Welsh
Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Donald G. Nulton, pastor, and the
Rev. Howard Hockenbury, her brother-in-law, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Franklin Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to the First Welsh Baptist Church, 52 S.
Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, 18702. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
