Sixty-two receive Confirmation at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Sacrament of Confirmation was recently administered by the Most

 Miller receives Interfaith Citation &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A Citation of Distinction for Devoted Service to the Cause of Human Welfare
was recently conferred upon Elly Miller at a luncheon of the Interfaith
Council of Wyoming Valley at the East Mountain Inn. Shown at the affair, from

 The Women of the Catholic churches of Sugar Notch recently held their
Christmas Party at the Wyoming Valley Country Club. The party was sponsored by
St. Charles Altar and Rosary Society. Highlighting the affair was the
presentation of a gift to Ann Sweeney for her dedication to the parishes, and
a $200 donation to the McAuley House in Plymouth. Pictured at the affair,

 Catholic Slovak Women's Club enjoys annual Christmas dinner &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Catholic Slovak Women's Club of Luzerne County recently celebrated
their annual Christmas dinner at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Luzerne.
Members from the Kingston-Luzerne Group hosted the affair. The club has
suspended meetings for the winter months. The next session will be held at 2
p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16 at St. Stephen's Church Hall, Plymouth. Pictured are the

 The Confraternity of Christian Mothers of the Exaltation of Holy Cross
Church, Buttonwood section of Hanover Township, will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday,
Jan. 9 in the church hall. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Ann Dundon, Mary Gusher and Rose Golumb will serve as hostesses. Regina
Kotchick will preside. The Rev. James McGahagan is club moderator. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Epiphany set for Sunday &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Forty Fort United Methodist Church will be the site for A Celebration
of Epiphany at 3:45 p.m. Sunday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The congregation will be led in carol singing by Jean Marie Harding. Youth
groups and Confirmation classes will carry banners and candles in a
procession. "Just Us," a musical trio, will present a medley of Christmas
music. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The service is open to the public and is sponsored by the Wilkes-Barre
District Council of Ministries. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Family program to begin Jan. 28 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "A Family Night Out" will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28
at the Noxen United Methodist Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The program will include a free dinner, activities for children and a
discussion for parents. Topics to be discussed include: discipline, child
development, pre-schoolers, teenagers, family relationships, stepfamilies and
divorce. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 This program will be held the fourth Tuesday of each month. The public is
