Catherine Drury &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 January 4, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Catherine Drury, of Anthracite Apartments, Main Street, Pittston, died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Saturday at the Mercy Hospice Unit, ScrantonBorn in Pittston, she was the
daughter of the late George and Agnes Hurley Fischer. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She graduated from St. John the Evangelist School and St. Cecilia High
School. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed in the local garment industry for 25 years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Quilting Club at St. John's the
Evangelist Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Private Francis Drury who died in
battle during World War II, and a grandson, Thomas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Francis (Noreen) Gill, Lakewood, N.J.; a son,
Patrick C. Drury, Wilkes-Barre; four grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday from the Adonizio Funeral
Home Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11
a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A wake service will be held tonight. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
