Elizabeth Toro &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dec. 24, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Elizabeth Toro, of Hazleton, died Dec. 24 at Hazleton General Hospital in &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hazleton, following a lengthy illnessBorn in Hazleton, she was the daughter
of the late Serafino and Albina (Gadler) Salazer and lived in the Hazleton
area all her life. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Before her retirement, she worked at local garment factories. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Most Precious Blood Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband,
Nicholas; brothers, Lewis, Joseph and Jimmy, who died in the Korean War; and a
sister, Rita Socha. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are brothers, Frank, Warren, Mich.; Fred, Michael, Sylvester and
Thomas, all of Hazleton; sisters, Josephine Forte and Mrs. Joseph (Catherine)
Berlanda, both of Hazleton; Mrs. Anthony (Marie) Milardi, Conyngham; many
nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The funeral was to be held from the Fierro Funeral Home, followed by
interment in Most Precious Blood Cemetery, Hazleton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to Most Precious Blood Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
