 January 4, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hazel Mildred Quier, 71, of East Main Street, Nanticoke, died Saturday at
her homeBorn November 4, 1925, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late
James and Tess Heiser Gantz. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed by the state Bureau of Employment Security and Bell
Telephone Co. for many years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She formerly resided in the Townhill area of Huntington Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her husband, Harry "Jake" Quier, and a son, Patrick, at home. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Private funeral services will be held at Clark Piatt Funeral Home Inc.,
Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 There will be no calling hours. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
