 Dec. 26, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Lubica Popovich, a former West Hazleton resident and a guest at the
Mountain &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 City Convalescent Center in Hazleton, died Dec. 26 at Hazleton General &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hospital in HazletonBorn in Gradjave, Montenegro, Yugoslavia, she lived in
the Hazleton area most of her life. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was of the Serbian Orthodox faith. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Preceding her in death was her husband, Luka, on Nov. 18, 1982. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son and daughter in Yugoslavia. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The funeral was to be held from the John J. Pusti Funeral Home, Hazleton,
followed by interment in the Serb-Montenegrin Cemetery in the Jeanesville
section of Hazle Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
