 Dec. 25, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mary M. (McFadden) McAlarney, 84, a guest at the Hazleton Geriatric Center, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hazle Township, died Dec. 25 at the Hazleton-St. Joseph Medical Center in &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 HazletonBorn in McAdoo, she was the daughter of the late James and
Catherine (Dolan) McFadden. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton and
worked at the Publix Shirt Factory, Hazleton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband,
Ronald, in 1971; brothers, John, Norman and James; sister, Catherine McFadden. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a daughter, Karen Spagnola, White Haven; sisters, Anna
Betterly, Hazleton; Jule McFadden and Marcella Costello, both of Niagara
Falls, N.Y.; Rose Maco, Mount Laurel, N.J.; one granddaughter; nieces and
nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services were to be held from the Boyle Funeral Home, Hazleton,
followed by interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, McAdoo. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
