 December 24, 1996 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Myrtie Manning, of Lansing, Mich., died Dec. 24 at the Michigan Medical &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Center, LansingBorn in Avoca, she was the daughter of the late William and
Helen Bennett Odgers. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, James, and a son, William. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are sons, Larry, Tallahassee, Fla.; Mark, Mason, Mich.; Neil,
Hastings, Mich.; Christopher, St. John's, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Marie
Slusser, Holt, Mich.; sisters, Irene Rutledge, Williston, Fla.; Mrs. Helen
Oliver, Avoca; 15 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services and interment were held Monday in Lansing. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
