 January 3, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ruth M. Gildea, 64, formerly of Vine St., Oak Hill, Lehman Township, died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friday at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas TownshipBorn in Luzerne, she
was the daughter of Freda Weiss Morton, Dallas, and the late Harry Morton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She attended Luzerne schools. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Prior to her retirement, she operated a delicatessen on Pioneer Avenue,
Shavertown, Kingston Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of the Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis G. in 1968. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving in addition to her mother are her children, Frank G. Red Lion;
Kevin J. Bloomington, N.Y.; Maureen Elizabeth Gildea, Patrick H., and John,
all of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a sister, Jean Rubbico, Exeter; and 10
grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Richard H. Disque
Funeral Home, 672 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30 a.m. in the Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton, Kingston Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
