Joan Robinson &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 January 6, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Joan Robinson, 51, of North Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Monday at
the Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn in July 7, 1945, in Wilkes-Barre, she
was the daughter of the late Raymond F. and Mary Barger Herron. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1963. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed by United Furniture Manufacturing for many years. Later,
she worked at Scott Grocery for 10 years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Francis Church, Miner Mills, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Thomas J.; a daughter, Kathleen A.
Robinson, Danville; Thomas R. and Norman J. Robinson, both at home; sisters,
Mrs. George (Maureen) Sulligan, Marlton, N.J.; Mrs. Patrick (Jeanne) Conway,
Wilkes-Barre; and a brother, Raymond F. Herron Jr., Stroudsburg. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the E. Blake Collins
Funeral Home, 159 George Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in
Blessed Sacrament Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Cancer
Institute, Surgery Branch, Attention: Steven A. Rosenberg M.D.Ph.D., 9000
