Local forecasters should be mindful of winter's economic outlook, too &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Last year I wrote to The Times Leader regarding local announcers and
forecasters who were always so happy when the temperatures were warm during
the winter months and who constantly voiced their hopes that the temperatures
would remain mild all winter longWith seven major ski areas in Northeastern
Pennsylvania, -- I being an employee of one of them -- I felt it was like
having them say "We hope all the ski areas go out of business." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Well, this year I am writing to commend Barry Finn from WYOU-TV Channel 22. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Not only does he promote skiing and the ski industry this year, he has
learned to ski and never wishes for warmer weather. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 It's about time these local forecasters recognized that the ski industry
employs thousands of people in Northeastern Pennsylvania and brings in
millions of skiers who spend their money at our hotels and restaurants. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 If they hate cold weather so much, let them just give us the forecast and
keep their opinions to themselves until spring. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
