Around Town Garbush Water Wants Rate Hike: The Garbush Water Co. Is Seeking A Rate Hike For Its 66 Customers In Jackson Township. The Water Company Asked The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission To Raise Rates By $9,746 Or 39.9 Percent. The Company Cited Increased Operating Expenses For The Rate Hike. If The Request Is Granted, Residential Bills Would Increase To $551 From $394 Based On 74,660 Gallons.
