Agnes Shipp &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 January 13, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Agnes Shipp, formerly of Garfield Street, Honey Pot section of Nanticoke,
died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Monday at the Nanticoke Villa, where she was a resident for the past three
yearsBorn in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Valentine and Mary Szot
Pekot. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She moved to the United States at an early age and was a lifelong resident
of Honey Pot. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Nanticoke. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She and her late husband, John Shipp, owned and operated a grocery store on
Garfield Street, Honey Pot. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In addition to her husband, John, of 64 years, she was preceded in death by
brothers, Bruno and John. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a daughter, Ms. Patricia Rekas, Nanticoke; two grandchildren;
brothers, Joseph Pekot, Nanticoke; Ben Pieklo, Maryland; a sister, Mrs. Walter
(Sophie) Rynkewicz, Nanticoke; nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Grontkowski Funeral
Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Nanticoke. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until time of services Thursday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
