 January 16, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Alyce E. Leonard, formerly of Boulevard Towers, Pittston, died Thursday at
the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Highland Manor Nursing Home, ExeterBorn in Pittston, she was the daughter
of the late John and Ellen Shannon Garrity. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She graduated from St. John's Academy, Pittston, and West Chester State
Teachers College. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Before retiring, she worked as a teacher for homebound students. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, William; sisters, Anna, Helen,
Mary, Margaret and Clare; a brother, Thomas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the Paul F. Leonard Funeral
Home, 575 N. Main St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.
in St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
