There's life away from Super Bowl &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Taking nothing away from a nationally televised sporting event, but there
are other things to do on Super Bowl SundayGranted, organizers have long grown
wary of programming a concert, program or play during game time. But you can
have fun all day and still be home in time for the kickoff and a Dorito-fest. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Here are some Sunday suggestions: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 If there are wee lads and lasses in your life, consider taking in a play.
Showcase Theater is presenting "Mr. A's Amazing Maze Plays," an
audience-assisted kids' production, at 2 p.m. The theater is at 54 Tunkhannock
Ave. in Exeter, next to Fox Hill Country Club. Call 829-2631 or 654-2555 for
more information or reservations. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Audiences both young and old will enjoy the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble
Super Bowl Sunday special. After 2 p.m., people can pay whatever they like for
a 3 p.m. presentation of the physically theatrical show, "R &amp; D." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Wyoming Seminary Madrigal Singers, a select 24-voice group, will
present a concert at the Shavertown United Methodist Church, N. Pioneer
Avenue, Shavertown, Kingston Township, at 3:30 p.m. The Marywood Children's
Chorus will also perform. Call 283-6090. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 If you don't mind listening to the first half on the radio on a ride home,
you can see the Philadelphia Brass. The quintet will perform at the Zoellner

 Caesars Cove Haven in Lakeville will wind up a Super Bowl Comedy Weekend on

 Tune into WRKC-FM (88.5) at 1 p.m. for the first of "Voices of Pacifica," a
26-week series of radio shows featuring highlights from the Pacifica Radio
Archives tape collection. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Try brewing up some fun at the Nature Conservancy Pocono Mountains Office
in Long Pond. From 2 to 4 p.m. "Winter Wild Teas" will offer the how-to gather
the stuff to make your own. Call 643-7922 today to register. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Susquehanna Trailers Hiking Club will hoof the Delaware Water Gap, a
10-mile, strenuous hike. The group will meet at 6:30 a.m. in the commuter
parking lot, Oak Street and Route 315, Pittston. Call 654-1735 to see if
weather will change the plans. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 And for another strenuous outing, the Sierra Club is sponsoring
Cross-Country Skiing at Highland Forest, N.Y. The group will meet at 8:15 a.m.
at the YMCA in Dunmore, exit 55B off I-81. You'll need water and lunch. You
can bring your own skis, though rentals and horse-drawn sleigh rides will be
available. The outing may change or cancel due to the weather. (Call 341-3568
