Stanley Lobitz &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 January 23, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Stanley A. Lobitz, 85, of Carson Street, Hazleton, died Thursday in the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hazleton St. Joseph Medical CenterBorn in West Hazleton, he was the son of
the late Stanley Adam and Helen Gudanofski Lobitz. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was founder of Lobitz Catering Service Inc., Hazleton, and Route 940,
Hazle Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, Gold Card member
of the Young Men's Polish Association, and a founder of the West Hazleton
Health and Strength Club. He was cited by many local civic, governmental and
police groups and organizations for his service and contributions to them. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Regis; brothers, Frank Lobitz,
Anthony Wasilewski; sisters, Lottie Kubick and Ann Lashock. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Buchert; children, Stanley, Drums;
James, Hazleton; Mrs. Eugene (Ann Marie) Sobeck, Ramsey, N.J.; 10
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be 8:30 a.m. Monday from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral
Home, Inc., 542-544 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton, with a Mass of Christian Burial
at 9 a.m. in St. Stanislaus R.C. Church, Eighth and Carson Street, Hazleton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A Christian Wake service will be held at 8 p.m. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
