 Filled to capacity with patients, Nesbitt Hospital and Wilkes-Barre General &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hospital had to close their doors to new patients for part of Friday and &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Saturday -- the second time this month the facilities had to turn away
patientsBoth hospitals stopped accepting patients at 7 p.m. Friday. They
re-opened to new patients at noon Saturday, said Kevin McDonald, a
spokesperson for Wyoming Valley Health Care System, which operates both
hospitals. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Emergency rooms at the two hospitals continued to accept patients who drove
themselves, but all others were diverted to other area hospitals, including
Mercy Hospital and Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, McDonald said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Nesbitt and General were forced to stop admitting patients Jan. 7 because
they were filled to capacity. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 No one knows why the hospital census has been so high, McDonald said. He
said the census is usually up during the winter, but this year it has been
exceptionally high. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
