Walter Kasaba &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 January 24, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Walter S. Kasaba, of Crown Drive, Wyoming, died Friday at his homeBorn in
Plains Township, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna Kasaba. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was formerly employed as a coal miner by Lehigh Valley Coal, Plains
Township, and Sherman Coal Co., Port Blanchard. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of SS. Peter &amp; Paul Church, Plains Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his wife, the former Julia Chapka; daughters, Christine
Kunkle, Eloncollege, N.C.; Roxann Fisher, Reading; Denise Kasaba, at home; a
son, Leonard Kasaba, Plains Township; a sister, Sister Pachomia, Reading; a
brother, Edward Kasaba, Lopoc, Calif.; and five grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the
Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in SS. Peter &amp; Paul Cemetery, Plains Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 There will be no calling hours. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Care of the VNA Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
