 January 30, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mary Chipego of Owen Street, Swoyersville, died Thursday at the Geisinger &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains TownshipBorn in Swoyersville, she was
the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Stefanides. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Swoyersville, and its Altar and
Rosary Society, Christian Mothers Club, and the Rev. Dianeska Okres Society. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was also a member of the Swoyersville Senior Citizens, the Ladies'
Slovak Catholic Union, and a former officer of the LPSCU of Swoyersville. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are sons, John, Swoyersville; Albert, Newton Square; a brother,
Richard Stefanides, Swoyersville; five grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Lehman-Gregory Funeral
Home, Inc., 281 Chapel St., Swoyersville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Swoyersville. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Swoyersville. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
