 January 29, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ruth E. Kantner, 90, of Mercer Avenue, Kingston, died Wednesday at her
homeBorn in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Anna
Steinhauer Kantner. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She resided in Kingston for the past 46 years and graduated from Coughlin
High School, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 There are no immediate survivors. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Private funeral services will be held Saturday from the Metcalfe &amp; Shaver
Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with the Rev. Gary Jones of St.
Luke's Church, Wilkes-Barre, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Hollenback Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 There will be no calling hours. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
