 February 1, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dorothy L. Walsh, 89, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and formerly of
Wilkes-Barre, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 died Saturday at the St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Petersburg, FlaBorn
February 23, 1907, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late James T.
and Dorothea Kaufer Walsh. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She graduated from West Pittston High School in 1925, and New York
Institute of Dietetics, New York City. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed as a secretary by Otis Elevator Co., New York City, for 18
years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She also lived in Portugal and Spain for many years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard in 1973, and a sister,
Margaret M. Walsh in 1989. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a niece and a sister-in-law. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Hollenback Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre. Funeral
arrangements will be by Harold C. Snowdon, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
