 February 3, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mary R. Heffron, of Park Gardens, Scranton, died Monday at the Mountain
View &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Health Care Center, ScrantonBorn August 19, 1915, in Dickson City, she was
the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence Williamson Griffiths. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She graduated from Dickson City High School and attended Marywood College. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Claire's Church, Scranton, its Altar &amp; Rosary
Society, and Roundwood Senior Citizens. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Frank G. in 1983, and
a brother, Thomas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, Dr. Edward Heffron, Old Forge; a grandson; and several
nieces and nephews.; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the J. Robert McGoff
Funeral Home, 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in
St. Claire's Church, Scranton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Children's Center, 2010
Adams Ave., Scranton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
