Theodore Karalus &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 February 2, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Theodore T. Karalus, of Third Avenue, Kingston, and formerly of Chicago,
Ill., &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 died Sunday at the Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn July 15, 1908, in
Nanticoke, he was the son of the late Thomas and Julia Dreier Karalus. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He lived in Chicago, Ill., for 55 years where he was a member of Laborers
International Union of North America Local 6. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Prior to his retirement in 1973, he worked as a spackler in the building
and construction industry in the Chicago area. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Following his retirement, he moved to the Wyoming Valley. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, Matilda Crane in 1964. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from
the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Nanticoke. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 There will be no calling hours. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
