 February 4, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Joseph A. Gallagher of Park View Circle, Wilkes-Barre, died TuesdayBorn
Jan. 12, 1927, he was the son of the late Isaac and Mary Conway Gallagher. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He graduated from Sugar Notch High School and served with the U.S. Army
during World War II. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Before retiring, he was employed by the BASF Corp., Wyandotte, Mich. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Sugar Notch. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by brothers, James, John and Thomas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are sisters, Mrs. George (Marie) Gushanas and Mrs. Paul (Eileen)
Phillips, both of Sugar Notch; Mrs. Leonard Donald (Nancy) Smith, Mountaintop;
Mrs. Jean Stiles, Telford; numerous nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Leo P. Lehman Funeral
Home, 689 Hazle Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30
a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, with the Rev. John Terry, pastor,
officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
