Edward Argonis &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 February 5, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Edward A. Argonis, 82, of Marcy Road, Harding, Exeter Township, died
Wednesday at the Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn in Inkerman, Jenkins
Township, he was the son of the late John and Mary Argonis. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He attended the Jenkins Township school and resided most of his life in
Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Before retiring, he was employed as a security guard by the Atlas Chain and
Cable Co., West Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of St. Casimir's Church, Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Eleanor Vensky, on June
30, 1993; a brother, Joseph; a sister, Margaret Zukauskas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, Edward M., with whom he resided; two grandchildren;
nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the Kizis-Lokuta
Funeral Home, 134 Church St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11
a.m. in St. Casimir's Church, Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
