Michael Milon &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 February 6, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Michael Milon of McAlpine Street, Duryea, died Thursday at the Highland
Manor &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Nursing Center, ExeterBorn in Oglesby, Ill., he was the son of the late
John and Veronica Milon. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He served with the U.S. Army for over 20 years, retiring as a sergeant
first class. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He resided in Duryea for the past 31 years, previously in Port Griffith. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Before retiring, he was employed by the Trane Co., Dunmore. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Catherine Kuruc, on Oct.
9, 1993; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Gurholtz; brothers, John and Frank Milon. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Cathy) Ostrowski, Duryea; a stepson,
Nicholas Kolinchock, Hampton, Va.; three grandchildren; a great-grandson. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Blessing services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the Bernard J. Piontek
Funeral Home, Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Duryea. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
